When we launched the Uniform Developments website over a year ago, we took great care to determine the various website features and components that customers and potential homebuyers wanted to see when perusing through a builder’s website. We thought through the entire process from every customer perspective – first time buyers to seasoned purchasers. It was important to us that anyone searching for a home had all the information they needed, AND MORE! So, we’ve broken down some of the extra special website features that you can find throughout our website.
Compare Floor Plans
When browsing through any of our floor plans (in any community) a special drop-down button is available to compare that selected floor plan with other models. Once the other model is selected, you’ll be able to compare the rendering images, square footage, and floor plans of both – side by side, displayed in a separate pop up window. You can also download a PDF of each.
Interactive Community Site Plans
Similar to other builder websites, our community site plans come with a colour-coded legend outlining home products, streets, parks, schools and future builds. But we took it one step further! Our interactive site plans display the lot numbers currently for sale. Clicking on the number launches a separate window outlining all the home designs available for that lot selection.
Search by Products OR Communities
Not sure where to start your search? When you land on our homepage, we’ve laid out the search process so you can view homes by community (The Orchard, Richardson Ridge, or Wateridge Village) or by home product (bungalows, singles, towns, condos) – whatever you’re looking for, we want you to find it in the easiest way possible. Ready to move in right now? There’s also a spot for you to view all early occupancies!
Model Home Galleries
Beautiful model homes have been built in both The Orchard (Stonebridge) and Richardson Ridge (Kanata) communities. Touring our fully decorated models is the best way to experience the quality of craftsmanship and design that goes into each and every Uniform home. But if you can’t stop by in person, our website features stunning photography and specs of each model home on our website.
Homeowner Handbook
All homeowners need home maintenance guidance every now and then. If you’ve misplaced your printed copy of the homeowner handbook you received on your closing day, no need to worry. The handbook PDF is available for download with a quick click of your mouse!
Social Media & Blogs
We love being social… so much that we created a whole page on our website dedicated to it. Our Social + Media page is automatically populated with highlights of the most recent posts to our Facebook and Twitter pages, most recent blogs, and a whole archive of information in case you’ve missed a post along the way!
Coming Soon! Homeowner Service Portal
In this digital world, we felt it was important to incorporate an online portal as a place for our homeowners to check in on the after sale service of their home. Launching this summer, homeowners will be given a unique username and password to login to the portal, and more closely monitor the completion of service related items.
