Mackay House

Located in New Edinburgh, MacKay House is a beautifully balanced and architecturally expressive condominium building with 27 residences overlooking Rideau Hall.

At street level an arcade of 13 stone columns joined by ironwork grounds the building while also reflecting the limestone wall that surrounds Rideau Hall. Behind these columns, a modern yet traditionally balanced brownstone building rises 4 floors, with the entrance plaza at the main floor recessed from street level. MacKay House carefully reflects the architectural language and proportions of many of the oldest homes within the neighbourhood.
