Year End Wrap-Up and 2019 Predictions
It was another successful year for Uniform Developments. We can proudly look back on all the incredible accomplishments we’ve seen throughout the year, from awards won to new community launches. Our team is always working hard to bring together beautifully designed and constructed communities.
In 2018, 143 new purchasers chose a Uniform product to call home. That is a fantastic accomplishment for us and we are excited to move forward into 2019 with such momentum.

COMMUNITY LAUNCHES
Wateridge Village – Phase 1B
In August, phase one of Wateridge Village (consisting of single family and semi-detached homes) sold out. This emerging new community is a great one, and Uniform was excited to have the opportunity to continue building in the next phase of development. In November of 2018, we launched newly designed, modern two-storey townhomes in a new phase of the community. Presently, we are nearly sold out of the first release with a limited number of homes remaining that will be released soon! Register online for updates.
Grandview Court
In October, we introduced a new (and exclusive) ALL bungalow community. Grandview Court is located in the Stonebridge area across from our already established Orchard development. The community is an enclave of 51 homes on a single cul-de-sac street. A tree buffer and designated open space makes this community lush with natural landscape, with the “grand views” coming from the rolling hills of the Stonebridge Golf Course. Work will begin onsite likely before the end of February, and we cannot wait to see these amazing homes begin to come out of the ground.

GOHBA Housing Design Awards | Sales & Marketing Awards
This year, our team was thrilled to be nominated for six Housing Design Awards – Greater Ottawa Home Builders’ Association’s annual best in housing design. On October 20th, we took home three trophies, two of which with our partners at Deslauriers Custom Cabinets. GOHBA’s Sales & Marketing Awards took place a few weeks later where we received two more prestigious honours from our industry peers and colleagues.

2019
This coming year will bring with it the highly anticipated launch of ECHO, our boutique condo overlooking to Canal. We are working diligently to pull together final details on design, specifications and marketing so that we can bring this to the market by early spring. We will continue to keep those registered for updates aware of major milestones and upcoming sales information. The process takes time but we cannot wait to bring this combination of design, detail, quality and location to Ottawa.
We also look forward to a return to Westboro with an urban infill project that will marry with our past project “The Avenues”.
We have some other amazing sites in the works but at very early stages, they may emerge late this year or early 2020. In the meantime efforts towards product development and refinement are always churning in the background.
